I completed my MCA from Regional College of Management Bhubaneswar in 2007.
Due to the recession, I could not get a job so I thought I should get some training in ASP.Net which will help me find a job in software industry. First I tried to find out some institutes in Bhubaneswar but as I was local here so I knew what type of institutes they are from my friends. Still I tried to go to an institute and the tutors were mainly from academic background and could not give me what I actually wanted.
So I decided to go to Delhi and try there. I got references of some institutes from friends and seniors. I joined an institute there in Noida. I went there for 2-3 weeks but again they were mainly giving classroom trainings. There was a lab but no one would give you practical training and help you run your programs successfully. Tutors will mostly find a way to escape themselves. They will ask you to do what they know but would not solve your practical problems.
My frustration was high but I continued to complete the program to get the certificate. In the meantime I used to practice at home and get helps from other seniors I knew. Every time I go to interview I found that could crack the interview if I had a practical working knowledge of how projects are done properly. Finally I got success but remember the entire struggle.
I am glad to hear that DishaaPro is coming to Bhubaneswar with a unique idea of intensive live practical training program. I think this is what was long missing in our area. We have got a lot of potential but we need right direction and right exposure. Once we get it, we can get a good job easily. I wish this kind of training program were available in my time.
